Being a Riserva, the wine has to have spent 6 months ageing before being bottles, this wine spent that time on lees, developing a bready toasty aspect that together with the lemon sherbet and chalky minerality provides an exceptionally concentrated and rich wine. Great now with white fish though also has the ability to age gracefully for many years.
