This is a small-production recent addition to the Krug family of wines. Like the Grande Cuvee it is fermented in small oak casks and cellared for six years on lees. This is a profound, enchanting wine with a delicate framework, a silky texture and a complex range of flavours from berry fruits through to brioche and yeast notes. While there is no question around its magnificent weight and power, it is certainly an ethereal execution of the Krug style.
