Merlot dominates at 70%, with Cabernets Sauvignon and Franc in attendance. An impressive wine from the 2016 vintage, the fruit is fresh and vibrant with a smooth nature to the edges and little signs of bottle development yet. This aged Bordeaux Superieur should have a far greater price tag, an intense, expressive bouquet of red and black berries are apparent on the nose. The palate is then all about coffee and spiced notes with a round soft easy-going finish. This is delicious and for this price tag, wow, what a wine.
