Callum’s family have been farming organically since the late 90’s - originally with sheep and beef in Otago and now viticulture in Marlborough. The family grows sauvignon blanc, pinot noir and chardonnay across certified organic vineyards surrounding Renwick in Marlborough, New Zealand.
As ‘growers’ in the wine industry the family supply premium certified organic fruit to some of your favourite wineries but in 2018, Callum and his wife released their own range of wines under the Windrush Organic brand. Chardonnay grapes inspired the brand with three rare clones planted and established under BioGro certification in 2016. The wine sold out within a few months and the naming of Empire Vineyard and Empire Chardonnay marks the start of something new. Putting a stake in the ground for the family which led us to the Windrush Organic wine range.
