VALDESPINO

"One of The World's Oldest and Most Outstanding Sherry Producers".The Valdespino family has been involved in the sherry trade since 1430, making Valdespino one of the oldest sherry bodegas in Jerez. In 1883 Valdespino became a supplier of sherry to the Royal House of Spain, and since 1932 to the Royal House of Sweden, a testament to its quality. In 1999 the Estevez family, also from Jerez, bought the Valdespino bodega, keeping it in family hands and ensuring its quality and traditions continue.

Sherry is a fortified wine made mostly from the Palomino grape and matured using the traditional solera system. It is produced in the south of Spain within the Jerez Xeres Sherry DO, in an area known as the Sherry Triangle, formed by the towns of Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa Maria and Sanlucar de Barrameda.

We are delighted to have a long association with the Valdespino family, and being able to import the 375ml bottles means we can cater even more effectively to restaurants and bars.
