The journey to create Fords Gin began on cocktail napkins in the world’s greatest bars. As a “gin guru” with over 20 years of experience in the trade, Simon Ford found himself having countless conversations with bartenders about the need for a go-to cocktail gin. They wanted a versatile spirit that could be used in any gin-based cocktail, no matter what ingredients the recipe called for. Simon, along with some of the biggest names in the hospitality community, considered all the classic gin cocktails and broke them down by flavour profile. These flavours were then paired with the many popular botanicals found in gin to ultimately determine the most versatile mix of botanicals possible. At 90 Proof, Fords Gin holds significant flavor with the versatility to shine in all gin cocktails from the Martini to the Gin & Tonic to the Negroni and beyond.
