Chateau Clos Saint Martin

Deep ruby purple colour, bright and glossy in appearance; lots of high-toned black fruit notes of plums, blueberries and cassis then a reverberation of spice, licorice and a touch of violet. On the palate there is power that comes from the quite intense but ripe tannins and adds good structure to the wine. There is power and classic flavours of limestone, licorice and wild flowers. Intriguing and classy. (FM)
