The US is a hotbed of underground craft beer producers, of all sizes and persuasions, and Rogue is right up there, with impeccable credentials for their handcrafted ales, porters, stouts and lagers. They are uncompromising when it comes to quality, right down to having their own farms and growing their own hops. Founded in 1988 in Ashland, Oregon, they operate brewpubs in Oregon, Washington and California. Living by the motto that 'variety is the spice of life' Rogue have produced more than 60 different ales using a non-pasteurized process with no preservatives, all natural ingredients and a special proprietary yeast known as Pacman.
