JACOPO BIONDI SANTI

Italy's Jacopo Biondi Santi, the great-grandson of Brunello's father Ferruccio Biondi Santi and son of the extraordinary Brunello producer Franco Biondi Santi, has taken his family's tradition and philosophy on high quality wines to new heights. His first wines were produced at his father's Montalcino estate in 1991.

Shortly after in 1996, Jacopo Biondi Santi founded his own estate in Maremma at the Castle of Montepo where he commissioned a group of experts to perform microclimatic and soil studies of the territory at his estate.
