With accolades for both its deli and café our original Dida's Food Store in Auckland's Herne Bay is popular with both locals and those from the surrounding neighbourhoods of St Marys Bay, Ponsonby and Freeman's Bay. Housed in the original building where grandfather Jakicevich started his grocery store over 60 years ago, we are proud to say we're still here and part of the community. Its excellent cheese selection and European delights make for a tempting stop en route, in particular for those heading to the North bound motorway.
The Team
LENAIC - is our Frenchman in the Dida's side of the business. He's naturally mad about French cheese and is excellent on the coffee machine.
TONY - started with Didas a year ago when we opened Didas Victoria Park, showing his talent for great food quickly, Tony is now our team leader for Didas Jervois Road Foodstore and Wine lounge.
