BODEGAS CHIVITE

Bodegas Chivite is a firm of renowned winemakers operating out of Navarra, bearing the proud seal of the Chivite family and a viticultural history that dates back to 1647, one of the longest histories in Spanish winemaking.

In a vinous passage of marathon proportions, eleven generations of Chivites have passed on the baton of expertise and tradition to the next, with the current leading players in this epic saga being siblings Julián, Carlos, Fernando and Mercedes.

The existing winery dates back to 1860 and was thoroughly modernised in the 1990’s, with the Chivite reach extending these days into Rioja and Ribera del Duero. At this fine winery, natural elegance and painstakingly obtained know-how combine to produce excellent value wines.
