Crafted from grapes grown in two sites in the Uco Valley. One located in Paraje Altamira in San Carlos and the other Los Chacayes in Tunuyan. These sites have elevation together with an abundance of sun. The combinaton of this and the alluvial soils, togehter with the high diurnal shift. These wines have incredible depth and intensity. No oak used, concrete instead, aiming for the terroir and fruit to shine. 94 points, James Suckling: "Blueberries, violets, dried licorice and graphite on the nose. Fresh, medium-to full-bodied palate, showing chalky acidity and tannins. Really precise and long. Drink or hold." 90 points, Wine Enthusiast Magazine:"A combination of black and red fruit, with hints of thyme and oak, enhances the aromatic bouquet of this wine. Supple tannins provide a good structure to bright fruit flavors. Light notes of dried herb add complexity to this vibrant, good-value wine."
