A stones throw from Chateau Ptrus and adjacent to Lafleur, this vineyard lies on the north-eastern edge of the high plateau of Pomerol, where the soil involves large gravels with very little of the blue clay found in its high-profile neighbours. The chteau was built in 1782 and has had a strong reputation since the late 1800s. Recent vintages are the finest ever produced here. Fresh, sensuous, full of finesse.
