Frank Phelan

Frank Phelan was created in 1986 and is the second wine of the Saint Estephe property Chateau Phelan Segur. Taking its name from the son of Bernard Phelan, founder of the estate. This wine comes from 15 hectares of old vines together with a selection of vines under 10 years old. Stylistically this has the same classic values of the Grand Vin. The indulgent fruit is intense and compelling. A wine with elegant structure of silky tannins. All of the roundness and suppleness allow it to be enjoyed from a young age. An equal blend of Cabernet and Merlot.
