Chablis is a unique wine there is nowhere else that can produce these crisp and complex wines that manage ripeness and bracing acidity. We tasted through from Chablis AOC through to 4 Grand Cru wines, 3 of which were from the stunning 2014 vintage. It was a rare opportunity to be able to compare three Grand Cru sites and highlight their differences. The Moutard Les Clos showed its class at the tail end of the tasting and was the most popular on the night but the Moutard Blanchot was a close second, it showed gorgeous floral notes and the texture was silky. The best value on the night though was the Seguinot Bordet Fourchaume 1er Cru this is Seguinots flagship wine and a steal at around $50
