ANNUAL NON VINTAGE TASTING | WELLINGTON

It was a fun evening at our Hutt Road site and it really couldn't be anything but with 9 Non-Vintage Champagnes to try. The wines were tasted blind to remove all preconceptions and as always people were surprised by what they enjoyed the most. I was a pretty even spread in the end but a couple of stand outs were Pol Roger and Louis Roederer, which as luck would have it also happen to offer exceptional value. The surprises of the night were the two Grower Champagnes, while the Serge Mathieu stood out as something different the J Lassalle Preference blended seamlessly in to the tasting with out missing a beat. Every wine had something to offer and of course it was great way to figure out your Christmas tipple of choice
