Last night a sold out gathering were entertained and informed by Jak as we tasted across a range of whiskeys of differing styles from either side of the Atlantic. Each dram came with a tale of it's provenance as well as more recent history. Takapuna whiskey drinkers also proved themselves clear fans of peat, with the Bruichladdich Port Charlotte a definite crowd favourite!
