What better way to celebrate the World Whisky Day, than a day of whisky tasting and being surrounded by likeminded people. All enjoying drams from across the planet to being made right here in Aotearoa. We opened bottles of our cult favourites to reminisce over and even some newly acquired tastes from Japan and the South Island; we had over 80 Single Malts on offer to be exact! The guys from Meat Fingers took care of the Jack Daniels BBQ Grill to fuel us for the big day ahead. The mood of the day was set by our friend Kerry, on the Bag pipes; then Jak Jakicevich opened our day and set the guidelines. 3 hours of a whisky lover's dream. A date to definitely mark in your calendar every year; World Whisky Day, every 3rd Saturday of May. Here at Glengarry, we love our whisky and we have no reason to stop sharing that with our customers. So, in saying that, see you next year. Slainte!
