Devil's Manhattan COCKTAIL RECEIPE
Excite your taste buds and treat your friends with the rich flavours and subtle complexities of the Devil's Manhattan. Notes of caramel, oak, aged bourbon, aromatic herbs and spices stirred into a special cocktail. Some say that something that tastes this good, should be a sin. You decide.
Ingredients:
45mls Woodford Reserve Bourbon
15mls Southern Comfort
15mls Dolin Sweet Vermouth
3 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
Lemon twist garnish
Method:
Fill a martini or cocktail glass with icy cold ice cubes to chill. In a Boston shaker with ice add the Woodford Reserve Bourbon and the rest of the ingredients. Stir with a long spoon until chilled (30 to 90 seconds). Remove the ice chilling the glass and then strain into the glass.
Garnish:
Peel a long thin strip of lemon, roll, then extend it while twisting it over the cocktail. Leave it to rest over the rim or rest at the bottom of the glass as you feel.

STIRRED
To stir a cocktail is to mix the ingredients by stirring them with ice in a mixing glass and then straining them into a chilled cocktail glass. Short circular twirls are most preferred. (NB: The glass part of the American shaker will do well for this). Spirits, liqueurs and vermouths that blend easily together are mixed by this method.
