SACRED HILL

Sacred Hill is recognised as one of New Zealand's leading, multi award winning wineries. Focusing on the production of premium 'handcrafted' varietal wines, the company's estate vineyards are located in New Zealand's leading grape growing regions of Hawke's Bay and Marlborough. From small winery to international star, Sacred Hill has come a long way in the last three decades.

There have been many changes since those first grapes were crushed by foot on family land in Hawke's Bay, but the essence of Sacred Hill remains the same - creating fine wine and good times for family and friends to share. The Mason Family, who have farmed in Hawke's Bay for over 50 years, planted the first vines and to this day are still fully involved in the day to day running of Sacred Hill. Over the years they have diversified and now have four ranges of wines – Sacred Hill, Sacred Hill Reserve, Sacred Hill Halo and Sacred Hill Special Selection.

Tony Bish

Tony is a member of the original Sacred Hill trio. He was bitten by the winemaking bug in the early 80’s (realising surfing really wasn’t a career option). Now, 32 vintages later Tony is one of New Zealand’s most respected winemakers, with a focus on quality and texture that has seen Sacred Hill wines rise to the top of the New Zealand wine scene.
