PECKHAMS CIDER

Peckhams cidery is in upper Moutere, Nelson.There cider stands out from other ciders in NZ, as they use proper cider apples, which is why their ciders have more texture and depth, with balanced fruit acidity and tannins. Fruit ciders are made with real Fruit, and no sugar is added.The Rare Cider range is unique to Peckhams, where they experiment with blends, and rare fruit, to celebrate real cider. These are very limited production ciders.Peckhams have won Champion Cider in 2015, 2016, 2017.

About the Winemaker

Alex and Caroline Peckham

Alex and Caroline have been making cider for quite a while now, planting their first trees in NZ in 2004. Since then they have amassed a great deal of experience growing cider trees, and making cider under NZ conditions.They moved into their current orchard in 2007 and have been planting and grafting ever since. In 2012 they built a new cider barn and imported a apple juicing line from Europe. Alex and Caroline are driven, working to making Peckhams ciders ever better and on experimenting with new cider making techniques.
