PAZOS DE LUSCO
In the Rias Baixas area one can find family of noble descent's "pagos". These "pagos" are mainly made of granite and they represent the framework where the wine has been being elaborated for generations. There is something romantic on the pagos, as it is in Pazos de Lusco, built in the 16th century. The Lusco estate managed to purchase what may be one of Spain's single best plots of Albariño: the 12-acre Pazo Pineiro vineyard, which is named after the 16th century manor house "pazo" on the property. Wines from Pazos de Lusco are produced in a state-of-the art cellar in near proximity to the pazo.
