PARES BALTA

Parés Baltà are a family-owned winery in Spain’s Penedès region, with traditions stretching back to 1790. The company is operated by Joan and Josep Cusiné, with winemaking duties carried out by their oenologist wives, Maria Elena Jimenez and Marta Casas.

While Parés Baltà are renowned for their top-end cavas, they also produce some outstanding expressions in Priorat under the Gratavinum label. They are big on biodynamics, with their vineyards certified as ecological/organic, so you get to salute sustainability while sampling some of the most complex and complete expressions you’re ever likely to experience, powerhouses of flavour, aroma and textural achievement.
