GLADSTONE VINEYARD
Gladstone Vineyard is proudly part of one of the country's oldest Pinot Noir producing regions.Named after the sub-region of the Wairarapa Valley, Gladstone.The first of our vines were planted in 1986.The property was sold to the Kernoham family in 1996 who spent the next two decades expanding the vineyard holdings and building a new winery.In 2018, Eddie McDougall and a consortium under The Flying Winemaker acquired Gladstone Vineyard from the retiring Kernohans. Seeing the potential of the region, they seek to write thenew chapter of this prestigious wine estate.

Eddie Mc Dougall
With a winemaking CV that has been described as “Legendary” by credible industry sources, Eddie has built his winemaking experiences under some of the world’s most iconic producers. Eddie has worked with the likes of Vietti, Mas de Daumas Gassac, Giant Steps, Deep Woods Estate, O'Leary Walker, Clyde Park, Wood Park, and Silver Heights. In addition, Eddie’s innovative approach to winemaking led him to become the winemaker for Hong Kong’s first urban winery.
