FINCA LUZON

The wine region D.O. Jumilla (Murcia, Spain), has become the revelation among Spanish winemaking regions, emerging as a leading force in the national and international scene and is a region renowned for its affordability. This is where the Bodegas Luzon winery was founded in 1916 by a group of families with a longstanding winemaking tradition. It was recently purchased in 2004 by the Fuertes family, who undertook a programme of modernization, unprecedented in the region. This combination means Bodegas Luzon can draw on the experience of age and combine this with the dynamism and fresh mindset of youth, to launch exciting wines that can change the consumer perception of this region. Such innovation can be seen in the production of an Organic Red - produced wholly under organic regulations with grapes grown from organic agriculture.
