rodie Estate is a familiy owned boutique vineyard and winery based in Martinborough. We produce small succulent berries with intense fruit flavours and spicy and savoury characteristics. We produce 1000 cases of high quality pinot noir each year.Our cellar door operates six months of the year and provides a range of white and red wines along with platters and picnic baskets. We export to London and Australia. Our wine has gained gold medals in Australia and silver in London. Currently our 2014 Reserve Pinot has 96 points from Bob Campbell and our 2012 Pinot has been selected on a blind tasting in London to be served at the Commonwealth Heads dinner.

James Brodie

We have been making wine since 2006. Mostly premium pinot noir and occasionally a reserve. the last two were bottled in 2014 and 2016. We also make chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, riesling, a dry and a sweet Rose from Pinot and a small quantity of Methode made from PInot and a small amount of chardonnay.Our philosophy is to make the wine in the vineyard and to use minimal intervention in the winery.
