BARROS PORTO

Port barons Barros were established in Portugal back in 1913, making them recently proud centenarians. Initially founded by Manuel de Almeida, Barros have evolved in that time to become one of Portugal’s most significant producers of prestige port wine.

From some Porto’s oldest surviving cellars, they produce an extensive range of high quality ports, and we are particularly fond of their Tawnies (they come in a variety of styles, including a 10-year-old, a 20-year-old and a select blend Reserve Tawny). A point of interest is their selection of Colheitas, special ports aged in oak casks for seven years.
