We are very excited to have a new container of wines arriving from Spain. For this evening we'll be looking at four of the countries greatest producers, in a face off between the two premier wine producing regions of Rioja and Ribera del Duero. The long established region of Rioja has undergone a renaissance, and producers like FINCA ALLENEDE (literally Further) are at the forefront of that. Then we have the more traditional style of MARQUES DE MURRIETA, which has been one of the most revered wineries in Spain for almost 200 years. Moving next to Ribera del Duero, which has risen to challenge Rioja for the crown. We will be tasting the 100% Tempranillo wines from AALTO, created by the legendary Mariano Garcia who was the Vega Sicilia winemaker for 30 years. Finally the unique and intense wines from the gifted EMILIO MORO, whose family has 120 years of winemaking history in the region. This will be a fabulous tasting of some of the best Spain has to offer.
