A NEW LOOK A GIESEN WINES WITH NIKOLAI ST GEORGE
The Giesen brothers have been making wine in New Zealand for many years with primary focus on the export market. Recently they have acquired some excellent vineyard sites and have been making super premium wines which have won awards and critical acclaim both locally and internationally. Not only have they acquired new vineyards but also the winemaking skills of Nikolai St George. Many will recognise Nikolai’s name from the heyday of Goldwater Wines when he worked with Kim and Jeanette Goldwater on Waiheke Island. Nikolai will be presenting the wines and sharing the new story of Giesen Wines. As usual the wines will be matched with Tapas prepared the Didas Wine Lounge kitchen. The wines tasted will include; The August Sauvignon Blanc 2013, The Fuder Clayvin Chardonnay 2014, The Fuder Dillons Point Sauvignon Blanc 2013, Clayvin Vineyard Pinot Noir 2013 and Clayvin Vineyard Syrah 2012.
