As Bordeaux specialists, each year when the latest vintage of En Primeur arrives, we like to taste the best of the best. The 1st Growths are the greatest Cabernet and Merlot dominant wines in the world and have held this position for hundreds of years. Embark on the vinous journey of a lifetime, as we taste our way through over $14k worth of the magnificent 2016 vintage. It was thought 2015 would be hard to top, but now in bottle 2016 is even better, and looking like one of the finest vintages of all time.

We will be tasting four of the five famous First Growths from the 1855 classification. Chateau Lafite Rothschild (99/100), Chateau Mouton Rothschild (100/100), Chateau Haut Brion (100/100), and Chateau Margaux (99/100). Chateau Latour unfortunately no longer releases current vintage. Not to leave the right bank out, we also have the iconic Chateau Cheval Blanc (100/100) from Saint-Emilion, and the legendary Chateau Lafleur (99/100) from Pomerol. We will finish with the 2016 vintage of the worlds finest sweet wine, the fabled Chateau d'Yquem (98+/100).
