Red Burgundy 2014 - An Overview Tasting | Auckland
The 2014 vintage in Burgundy was looking doubtful for a while but then the wine gods smiled and what could have been a very average vintage transformed in to something altogether more enjoyable.
The whites are truly magnificent but the reds are not to be underestimated, they are truly delightful with lovely energetic fruit. These wines are not big weighty wines but are more medium bodied and charming.
This may not be the vintage of the century but these wines will deliver something that we all crave...pleasure.
