Following its purchase by familie Abeille-Fabre, with four generations of cultivation experience at Mont Redon, and Pierre Fabre at the helm, they have aimed to continue this legacy.
Cairanne has long since been recognised by its growers for its standout terroir, but it was not until 1953 that the village name could be featured on its Cotes du Rhone AOC wines. Subsequently, it was granted Cotes du Rhones Villages Cairanne status in 1967, with its ascent culminating in the 2018 inclusion into the 17 Crus of the Rhone. 95% red, 5% white by production, and tonight we will be lucky enough to try both.
