FINE WINE TASTING | 2013 VINTAGE CHAMPAGNE
The 2013 vintage in Champagne was good despite the tricky growing season plus the fact that the vintage is somewhat shaded by the fabulous 2012 vintage. The high from the growing season is that Chardonnay performed like the star that she is and turned on a great vintage and the Pinot from Ay also performed exceptionally well. Whilst the media reports suggest the vintage was just very good we have tasted a number of these now and have been super excited with the quality and the style. Most Houses have made a Prestige Champagne as well, always a sign of a good vintage. This tasting will be held in our Fine wine room at Vic Park and will be presented by our General Manager Liz Wheadon and Victoria Park Site Manager Zane Winskill
The line up for tonight also include the super impressive Argonne 2013 from Henri Giraud. A wine with a $765 retail price. The opportunity to try this alongside Drappier, Mumm, Moet, Perrier Jouet and Henri Giraud for this ticket price. Incredible.
