All Champagne tastings are a bit of an occasion, but twenty years into the new millenium and capping off a pretty tough year we thought it was time to do something extra-specially special. Something that we might not be able to do again - or if we did it might start to become very expensive indeed. Tonight will be a tasting tribute to vintage Champagne and a look at some of the best examples of it so far this millenium. No two wines are from the same year or house and we will taste some of the very best vintages of this or indeed any century, as well as some more niche and challenging years.
