Grower Champagnes are a bit like craft beer brewers, in that, they are a growing part of the market and punch well above their weight, especially with regards to quality, innovation and sustainable winemaking. Grower Champagne producers are small, typically family owned and have, in many cases, been growing grapes and making champagne for several generations. Over the past few years Grower Champagnes have become highly sort after internationally as customers move away from the large houses and look for champagne from smaller more authentic, hands on producers.
