Described by Wine Spectator as 'a superstar of the Northern Rhone', Yves Cuilleron is one of the foremost winemakers in the region. His Syrah's and Viognier's are absolutely outstanding, he's also a huge rugby fan. Yves took over the family Domaine in 1987, quickly forging an enviable reputation. His wines neatly straddle the divide between traditionalists and the new-wave, retaining their sense of place, but express their site in a slightly more modern way. As is typical with Yves, we will be trying a large range of wines, predominantly from the incredible 2015 vintage. Marcel Guigal himself described it as "surely the vintage of a lifetime. In 55 years, I’ve never seen anything like it. On the level of 1929, 1947, 1961". He will also be bringing some of his older wines to show how they age.
