Italy

It would seem that if theres a spare corner of dirt, the Italians will plant grapes in it. They make wine from almost every region of their undulating land and, invariably, the wines here taste better with food which is how theyve made them since toga parties were all the rage a couple of millennia ago. Only now starting to realise its enormous potential, Italy is deservedly at the fine wine party.
