Alsace Wine Region

Almost more German than French in many ways, this fascinating region sits in the eastern foothills of the Vosges Mountains, delighting in the rain shadow and soaking up the sun. Aromatics are the key here, with Rieslings streaked with citrus and mineral, Pinot Gris that is both unctuous and luscious yet deliciously dry and some Crémant d Alsace wines that delight with their frothy appeal.
