Next to our flagship Jervois Road wine retail store is the Dida's Wine Lounge, right on the site where our grandfather, Josef Jakicevich, started his grocery store 60 years ago. Deliberately designed to encourage conviviality and relaxed imbibing, the food is tapas style, small plates of an ever-changing nature created from our fantastic local and imported produce and crafted by the chefs at the Dida's Food Store two doors down.
To accommodate the wondrous spread of textures and flavours, we have a monumental winelist with almost everything available by the glass. We think a glass of wine, a plate or two and a mate or two is a pretty comfortable way to spend your time, wouldn't you say?
Dida's Wine Lounge Jervois Road
The first Didas Wine Lounge, opened in June 2007. Our wine list is extensive, with a large selection by the glass. To accompany the wine, we serve traditionally inspired tapas. Didas Wine Lounge Jervois Road is a great place to meet for a drink, to pop into before dinner or to settle back and enjoy the evening. Open from 11.30am - late, 7 days
Our newest addition, Didas Devonport opened in December 2011. Located in the front of the old Victoria theatre in Devonport, the offering is similar to our original Didas, on Jervois Road. Didas Devonport is an ideal location for a drink and tapas prior to a movie, a late afternoon drink or a night out to catch up with friends, 12 minutes from Auckland by Ferry. Open from 11.30am - late, 7 days.
