DR RENWICK

With a long history dating back to 1982 originally in contract growing, then exporting Isabel Estate throughout the world since 1994, the Tiller Family are very excited about joining the Hancocks stable and turning their attention to the local market.

Located on a river terrace on the drier southern side of the Wairau Valley with a unique site sheltered from frost, this low vigour vineyard consistently produces incredibly intense and concentrated flavoured wines, well suited to food and hugely appealing in their originality of style.

Isabel Estate aims to produce truly "estate" wines produced only from vineyards under its total viticultural control. They endeavour to produce inspired wines that are a strong expression of the individual style and character as determined by the vineyard soil and site. Dr Renwick is their second tier wine named after Dr Thomas Renwick who gave his name to the small settlement of Renwicktown in 1856.
